Nicole Richie launched her maternity line this summer, which further proves that you don’t have to lose your style merely because you’re pregnant. Although the clothes are not outrageously priced, not all of us have even that kind of budget for maternity clothes. That doesn’t mean you don’t have options! I’ve taken a few items from Nicole Richie’s “a pea in the pod” maternity line and found some low budget alternatives that’ll keep you cute through your pregnancy.

To make the most of your wardrobe, go for pieces that you can mix and match and use for multiple purposes. Items like maxi dresses, trousers and dressy tops can be used in a variety of ways for a variety of occasions. Check out a couple budget friendly options for all of these pieces compared to a selection from a a pea in the pod, Nicole Richie’s line.
