Rachel Roy creates high priced pieces but also has a lot of affordable items as well! She makes beautiful clothes and accessories. Many of them have unique touches that give the piece a bit of an edge, like using safety pins in her jewelry design and attaching necklaces to her tees.

RACHEL Rachel Roy for Macy’s is fantastic! I’ve chosen three dresses for under $110. The best deal is a brushstroke print dress on sale for $59.40. My favorite (also the most expensive at $109) is the black mini. The stud details and ruched hem are fantastic. The plum sweater dress is perfect for the season and costs $99.

I love all her jewelry at Macy’s, but I chose three pieces for $40 or less. This snake pendant for $28, shown below in hematite, is also available in goldtone. There is also a hematite bow pendant ($26), a hematite wing pendant ($34) and a goldtone crystal tree pendant ($28) in this same style (not shown). I love rings that cover more than one finger. The one shown below is goldtone with crystals and blue stones and costs $38. The earrings are $40 and have a fun punk feel to them.

For bottoms, I like these graffiti leggings for $59. Or get the whole outfit in one with a jumpsuit. The black one shown below is $119. For $10 more, you can get a limited edition signed jumpsuit in silver also shown below.

RACHEL Rachel Roy also has great handbags. This adorable tote says “love” on the front and “peace” on the back. It is heavy canvas and costs $69. Go big with a $99 hobo that has a front pocket with stud details. For more color, try this crossbody clutch with a tagging design also for $69.

Nicole Richie launched her maternity line this summer, which further proves that you don’t have to lose your style merely because you’re pregnant. Although the clothes are not outrageously priced, not all of us have even that kind of budget for maternity clothes. That doesn’t mean you don’t have options! I’ve taken a few items from Nicole Richie’s “a pea in the pod” maternity line and found some low budget alternatives that’ll keep you cute through your pregnancy.

To make the most of your wardrobe, go for pieces that you can mix and match and use for multiple purposes. Items like maxi dresses, trousers and dressy tops can be used in a variety of ways for a variety of occasions. Check out a couple budget friendly options for all of these pieces compared to a selection from a a pea in the pod, Nicole Richie’s line.

a pea in the pod has a few cute maxi dresses. One of those is shown below at priced at $148. But Target also has come great options, like the black maxi for $42.99 with thick supportive straps. Gap has an adorable brown paisley maxi on sale for $59.99 (shown below) or get a muted version of the paisley print in blue for only $34.99.

For a cute top to go out in, a pea in the pod has an abundance including the dark blue one shown below for $78. Khols has a lot of adorable tops for fantastic prices, like this pleated top in berry (below) and in black on sale for $18. Even stores like Nordstrom & Gap, which tend to cost a bit more, have great options if you keep an eye on their sale section. The top below is also available in white and on sale for only $16.99 at Gap.

Trousers worn with a t-shirt can be a casual option. With a dressy top, they are perfect for work or going out. A pea in the pod has a pair in dark gray plaid for $68. Motherhood Maternity has a lot of reasonably priced maternity clothes, including the tweed pair below for $34.98. The last pair is from Old Navy and has an adjustable waistband. They are twill and available in the gray (below) as well as khaki and black.
