Multiple celebrities have been spotted rocking the oxfords since late this sumer and the style is likely to continue through the fall. The main thing to consider when deciding what to wear with oxfords is the fact that you want to show them off.
Pairing oxfords with a simple top and jeans is quite common. Sienna Miller and Sarah Jessica Parker have both gone this route. To counteract the masculine feel of the oxfords, a short dress is another choice for celebrities. You could keep the style cohesive and go with a preppy jumper as seen on Sarah Silverman. Try the one below from Urban Outfitters for $48 available in 3 different colors. Pair them a casual dress like Emma Watson or something more for a night out a la Amber Valletta. Celebs like Kate Bosworth and Kirsten Dunst have been wearing oxfords with rompers. Although this doesn’t scream fall fashion, 90210’s Shenae Grimes showed us how to make it work by adding tights and a menswear blazer. I love Urban Outfitter’s floral one for $48. Or try one in black, like Wet Seal’s for $27.50. If a romper isn’t your style, shorts may still be a good option and adding tights will make them wearable through fall. Selma Blair was seen wearing a pair of black cuffed shorts and a black t-shirt along with her oxfords. Forever 21 has an adorable gray short for only $19.80!
