I think a little black dress is probably the easiest outfit to put together. However, there are some ways to accessorize your LBD and make it feel new this holiday season. I’ve picked one basic LBD and put together outfits using that dress to give you some ideas of how you can change up the look from party to party. The dress is from Topshop for $100 and its shape is very flattering.

One option is actually provided by Topshop. They suggest ankle boots and a leather jacket with this dress. Taylor Swift embraced the leather jacket and LBD look at a Kings of Leon concert. I found this fun pair of ankle boots from Alloy for $46.90. It’s definitely difficult to find a leather jacket for under $100. This Silence & Noise one is reasonably priced at $128.

The Little Black Dress: A Holiday Must-Have

With all the parties and events that go on during the holidays, a versatile LBD is a great way to keep getting ready stress-free. You can probably find at least one occasion that every female celebrity has worn a little black dress. Jennifer Aniston continually bets on the LBD for events. White House|Black Market has a great sale on a dress with elbow length sleeves and a surplice bodice. Originally $150, it is now only $49.99.
